United Way of Kennebec Valley Board of Directors
You can change a life. Pretty powerful statement. No where can you experience that truth more readily than by volunteering with the United Way of Kennebec Valley.
Having been fortunate enough to serve as a Board member since 2006 and this year as Board Chair, I am amazed and humbled everyday by the care and concern the people of the Kennebec Valley have for each other. People prove it each year by supporting the United Way campaign which in turn funds over 50 agencies and programs in our communities.
As a volunteer, it is truly an experience beyond compare to have the opportunity to work with so many compassionate, generous and talented people and businesses in the area. The real reward however is in seeing the results of our work together in the eyes of the recipients.
Thank you to all of you for helping to change a life.

You Can Change A Life!
As a mother of three young children, one of the most challenging things I have encountered is finding affordable, quality child care. With the scholarship money that I receive from the Kennebec Valley YMCA, I have been able to keep my children enrolled in their day care program. This enables me to continue working full time knowing that my children are safe and happy.
